Ibiza in winter

From the beginning of November, peace returns to the island.
But that makes it any less fun!
On the contrary, Ibiza is also a winter destination,
where you can finally enjoy all the beauty of the island
and that in far more calm conditions.

Want to enjoy some sun and nature?

Ibiza in winter guarantees tranquility and is highly recommended for nature lovers.

The temperature is mild (during the day easily around 20 degrees) and therefore ideal for actively exploring the island and enjoying the beautiful nature and beaches.

In the winter you typically enjoy the daytime: have a nice lunch at a beach restaurant or take a walk along the beach with the sun in a clear blue sky. Enjoy and do things which you can’t in summer because of hot tempatures or too busy.

The winter is also called “the real island living” by the locals.

The weather

Ibiza has a Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild winters.

Spread throughout the year, Ibiza enjoys 300 days of sunshine with a daily average of 5 hours in winter and over 10 hours in summer. Really cold temperatures are rare.

In November the average temperature is still 20 degrees. Temperatures in the evening drop to around 15 degrees. It is lovely late summer weather.

From December to March, the average temperature is around 16 degrees. On sunny days, the temperature can easily reach 20 degrees and more in the middle of the day. The nights are cool with an average temperature of around 10 degrees.

From April on temperatures are rising again.
