Cala Llonga Ibiza

Cala Llonga beach

Idyllic beautiful beach recognized as “Blue Flag Beach”

The wonderful beach of Cala Llonga is located in a bay with deep blue water and pearly white sand, enclosed on both sides by beautifully overgrown hills.

The beach is very wide and offers enough space for everyone to enjoy and relax.

Because the water runs gently into the sea, it’s extremely suitable for families with children and for less experienced swimmers. A lifeguard also keeps an eye on things.

Facilities

All facilities are available, from democratically priced sun beds and umbrellas to an outdoor shower and toilets. The pine trees provide a very welcome shade. The restaurants and two beach bars make it complete.

Snorkeling and water sports in Cala Llonga

Older children and adults will not be bored on the beach at Cala Llonga. You can play volleyball, parasailing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, pedalos and windsurfing.

Playground for kids

Cala Llonga is one of the few beaches where you will find a nice playground for the kids on the beach. Moreover, the beach bar is just next to it. So enjoy a drink while the children have fun on the playground.

From May to October there is a hippy market on the promenade every Thursday evening in Cala Llonga. From 6 p.m. to midnight you will find a lot of nice stands with boho clothing, bags, homemade jewelry and other items, accompanied by live music.

No problem if you do not find what you are looking for here, because there are other and larger hippy markets on the island.

Cala Llonga hiking trails

Ibiza is a fantastic island for people who love walking. There are various organized walks throughout the island. Also in Cala Llonga you will find two beautiful hiking trails that are definitely recommended, with starting point at Casa Zita.

Cala Llonga -> tunnel Cala Blanca

Such a nice walk from Cala Llonga to Cala Blanca. You will enjoy the beautiful views on the bay of Cala Llonga and you will walk through a secret tunnel that nobody knows what it was built for. There are all kinds of stories about smuggling trails, but nobody knows for sure. As you continue you can either choose to continue walking to Santa Eularia and then take the bus back or return via another trail as described in the link below.

Walking trail Cala Llonga -> Cala Blanca

Cala Llonga -> Puig de ses Torretes -> Sol d’en Serra -> Puig des Moltons -> Cala Olivera

During this walk you will see the beautiful Cala Llonga again but from the other side. You can choose to walk to Amante Beach Club (Sol d’en Serra) (short version) or walk further to the idyllic small beach of Cala Olivera.
